Hi, I'm Atsushi Iwasaki. I am interested in individual decision-making and market systems. My current main theme is a theory and experiments of the Internet auction.

I majored in mechanical engineering. At first, I was going to study either manufacturing systems, optimization techniques, e.g. Genetic Algorithm, or autonomous robots (by using Reinforcement Learning) in Kobe University. However, my supervisor encouraged me to work with Prof. Sobei H. Oda, Faculty of Economics, Kyoto Sangyo University. I then started to study Economics with Prof. Oda and his friends. I've got my Ph. D. from Graduate School of Science and Technology, Kobe University. After I worked at Kyoto Sangyo Univerisity and NTT Communication Science Laboratories for two years, now I'm working at Graduate School of Information Science and Electrical Engineering.
